Job summary

WindBorne Systems in Atlanta, Georgia, is looking for an Embedded Electrical Engineer to design and test PCBs for innovative weather balloon technology. This role requires hands-on skills in debugging and firmware development while thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll work on systems operating in extreme conditions and support flight operations. Excellent problem-solving skills and a background in circuit design are essential. Qualifications

• Strong fundamentals in embedded circuit and system design.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting circuit boards and electronic assemblies.
• Familiarity with embedded firmware development (C/C++).
• Experience with PCB layout and design tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and test PCBs for critical new flight and ground systems.
• Develop firmware for initial bringup of new boards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues on existing hardware.
• Conduct comprehensive bench and environmental testing.
