Experis Technology Group seeks a Diagnostic Software Engineer in San Jose, CA to build diagnostic applications that validate hardware designs and support manufacturing readiness. You will work with hardware and software test teams to debug prototypes and ensure software deliverables meet objectives.

The role emphasizes C programming, embedded systems, and Linux driver expertise, employing multitasking OS concepts and MCU peripherals across a collaborative, quality-driven environment.

Formación

• Excellent C programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with embedded system software development.
• Linux device driver development experience.
• Knowledge of multitasking operating system design.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded peripherals (I2C, ADC, DAC, USB, PCIe, SPI, etc.).

Responsabilidades

• Define, design, and develop diagnostic applications that validate hardware designs and support product manufacturing.
• Execute detailed software test plans and verify diagnostic application behavior against expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with hardware and software test teams to debug product prototypes and software deliverables.
• Initiate and participate in reviews of technical objectives across functional teams to align on outcomes and requirements.
• Use strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to isolate issues across embedded software and system behavior.
