Job summary

Vertiv is seeking an Engineering Intern to join our Core Engineering team. This internship provides hands-on experience in hardware and firmware development, with exposure to Design Engineering, Test Engineering, and Generative AI applications.

Join Vertiv and contribute to embedding firmware/software in Yoto Linux, developing new features with GenAI tools, and applying Agile methods to design and testing while learning from seasoned engineers.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with C/C++ and Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment and work with others.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware/software for embedded Yoto Linux environments.
• Create new features and software with GenAI tools.
• Apply Agile development practices to product design and testing.
• Monitor data quality and integrity, identifying issues and collaborating to resolve them.
• Stay updated on trends in data analytics and apply new techniques.
