Job summary

You will design, develop, and validate embedded software across networking and platform layers, collaborating with WiFi, Ethernet, and platform teams to deliver scalable software for next-generation devices. The role involves debugging, code reviews, and Linux kernel work, with exposure to middleware like RDK-B, prplOS, and OpenSync, as well as OpenWRT.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ or similar system-level languages.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, VLAN).
• Experience with Linux-based systems and embedded software development environments.
• Analytical and debugging skills to resolve moderately complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded software across networking and platform layers.
• Debug and resolve moderately complex technical issues using data-driven analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure feature delivery and timely issue resolution.
• Participate in full software development lifecycle: design, coding, unit testing, integration and validation.
• Conduct code reviews and adhere to software development processes to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Perform Linux kernel development/debugging and use embedded debugging tools.
