Job summary

Thread Bank is seeking a client-focused professional to manage embedded banking relationships in a fast-paced environment. You will serve as the primary relationship and execution lead for an assigned portfolio of embedded banking partners, coordinating with bank leadership, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, and Technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three or more years of experience in embedded banking, BaaS, fintech partnerships, or financial services with partner-facing responsibilities.
• Familiarity with regulatory framework for sponsor banks and fintech partners (BSA/AML, KYC/KYB, UDAAP, Regulation E, third-party risk).
• Knowledge of embedded banking architecture: APIs, ledgers, card issuing, ACH/wire, and partner reconciliation.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Teams).
• Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills; detail-oriented.
• Ability to synthesize data for issue resolution and present to senior leadership.
• Ownership, integrity, and independent working style.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day client management, project coordination, issue tracking, and performance analytics for embedded banking partners.
• Support diligence, approval, implementation, launch, and expansion activities for partner programs with internal stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain partner performance reports (deposits, transactions, revenue, service levels, risk indicators) using BI tools.
• Plan and facilitate recurring partner business reviews covering performance and roadmaps.
• Manage partner requests, escalations, and expansion inquiries from intake through resolution.
• Monitor compliance and risk indicators, coordinating remediation with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Product, and Tech.
• Coordinate third-party risk program activities including annual reviews, control testing, and audits.
• Document decisions and communicate clearly with partners and internal teams; track commitments.
• Prepare agendas, materials, minutes, action items, and executive-ready updates.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
