Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking an Embedded Audio Software Engineer to develop and integrate audio technologies for next-generation consumer devices.

You will work with experienced engineers to design, optimize, and bring-up embedded firmware, test automation, and audio solutions across Linux, Windows, and Android platforms. A strong background in C/C++ and Python is expected, with interest in AI-assisted development tools and modern software practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in embedded software, firmware, or audio software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Familiarity with Git and modern IDEs.
• Understanding of embedded systems, OS, or computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and deploy embedded software and device drivers for ADI audio ICs.
• Test, debug, and validate audio software on embedded platforms.
• Assist with audio system integration and bring-up on Linux, Windows, Android, and embedded platforms.
• Create automated tests, validation frameworks, and audio test procedures.
• Collaborate with hardware, DSP, systems, and customer teams to deliver high-quality audio solutions.
