Job summary

PTR Global seeks an Embedded AI Engineer to partner with IT and Network Operations, developing AI-powered solutions to enhance monitoring, maintenance, and performance across our fiber network. You will identify high-value automation opportunities and drive AI adoption within the organization.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of software/AI experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on work with LLMs, RAG, and AI agents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience developing software, analytics, automation, data, or AI-based solutions.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents, or automation workflows.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Working knowledge of SQL and structured datasets.
• Ability to take solutions from concept through deployment and adoption.

Responsibilities

• Partner with IT and Network Operations to understand monitoring, maintenance, and incident workflows.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve visibility, efficiency, and reliability of the fiber network.
• Build and deploy AI-powered automations, agents, copilots, and internal productivity tools.
• Develop solutions for network monitoring, alert management, root-cause analysis, capacity planning, and load balancing.
• Create tools that help identify trends, predict issues, and accelerate resolution.
