Description:

East Missouri Action Agency has an opening for an Assistant Teacher at the Washington County Head Start Center.

As part of the education staff, the Assistant Teacher assists staff in meeting or exceeding the overall goals of the Head Start Program to ensure smooth operations by serving in different facets to meet licensing regulations. This position assists in classrooms, kitchen, and on the playground.

Starting pay: $13.81/hour with an excellent benefit package that includes:

Minimum Requirements:

Applicants must be 18 or older. Must possess a high school diploma or GED and complete the CDA process within two years of employment. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and pass an annual physical and TB test. Must attend training as required by Federal, local or State Government. Good attendance is crucial in this position.
