Job summary

Blue Origin's Global Supply Chain team seeks a seasoned program manager to define and implement design standardization for Electro-Mechanical Actuators (EMAs). You will use data-driven insights to reduce part count, improve manufacturability, reliability, and cost across programs.

You will collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and manufacturing to align standards with supplier capabilities, manage risks, and report progress with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Accredited B.S. degree in engineering (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or related).
• 5+ years in project/program management, supply chain, manufacturing, or similar.
• 2+ years focused on design or manufacturing of EMAs.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environment and deliver practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement EMA strategies to reduce part count and improve manufacturability and cost.
• Use spend analysis, part family mapping, and supplier assessments to identify standardization opportunities.
• Document recommendations and trade-offs in executive memos and presentations.
• Prepare analyses supporting business cases for senior engineers and program stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional sessions to implement EMA strategies across programs and product lines.
• Partner with sourcing, manufacturing, and quality to align with supplier capabilities.
• Track KPIs like part-count reduction, cost savings, and lead-time reduction.
