Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency medicine ultrasound director to join the ED team at Los Robles Regional Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, CA. The role serves as core faculty for the EM residency and leads the ultrasound division while maintaining active clinical duties.

The ideal candidate will be fellowship-trained in EM U/S with a passion for education, resident development, and collaboration with hospital leadership. Protected admin time is provided to oversee ultrasound education.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in emergency medicine.
• Completion of an emergency medicine ultrasound fellowship.
• Strong interest in resident education and academic involvement.
• Excellent communication, teaching, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ultrasound division for the emergency medicine residency program.
• Provide ultrasound education during resident didactics.
• Teach ultrasound during dedicated ultrasound rotations.
• Participate in faculty ultrasound development.
• Supervise and teach residents and medical students clinically.
• Maintain clinical shifts in the emergency department.
