Projected Start Date

August 2026 (Fall semester runs 8/24/26-12/12/26) and January 2027 (Spring semester runs 01/11/27-05/08/27)

Responsibilities

EMCC seeks adjunct clinical nursing instructors (approximately 16–18 hours/week for up to 16 weeks per semester) for the Bangor campus. Responsibilities include supervising and instructing associate degree nursing students in hospital medical/surgical and/or skilled nursing settings, assigning patients who meet the educational and clinical experience requirements, planning pre‑ and post‑conferences, providing regular feedback to students for performance improvement and review, and serving as the clinical faculty for final clinical evaluations.

Minimum Qualifications

• BSN (Master’s degree in nursing preferred)
• Current Maine RN licensure
• Medical/Surgical experience required
• Clinical experience in a related discipline to the area of the instructor position
• CPR certification
