Job description

Summary

Our Home is currently seeking an EM Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an EM Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex electrical and mechanical systems in our manufacturing facility. You will work independently to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of our equipment, helping us maintain our high standards of quality and productivity.

Responsibilities

1. Perform pre-operations equipment checks to ensure all motors and equipment are ready for operations.
2. Perform equipment lubrication as needed and maintain records of all equipment lubricated.
3. Maintain preventive maintenance records.
4. Report equipment conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
5. Assist in completing production by working on the line as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.
6. Maintain inventories of tools and supplies.
7. Keep the shop area clean and organized.
8. Perform any other duties as required by the Plant Manager and Maintenance Manager.
9. Maintain complete plant cleanliness.

Minimum Requirements

1. High school or Trade school study in Machinery, Industrial Machinery Mechanics, HVAC Mechanics, etc., and/or 3-5 years minimum experience as a maintenance mechanic or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the assigned work.
2. Thorough knowledge of industrial and production type machines.
3. Must possess own tools such as:

• 6” and 12” adjustable wrenches
• 3/16”, 5/16” and 3/8” slotted screwdrivers
• No 1, No 2 and No 3 Philips screwdrivers
• Claw hammer
• Channel Locks
• Metric and standard Allen Key sets
• Combination wrench set (prefer both metric/standard)
• Wire strippers/cutters
• Nut drivers

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to define issues, interpret data, and evaluate options.

Ability to think creatively outside the box.
