Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking an experienced SIEM/Systems Engineer to support the Enterprise Logging Solution (ELS) and SIEM environments across cloud and on‑prem architectures. You will analyze, implement, and test enhancements, onboard systems, and develop dashboards for leadership and developers.

Day‑to‑day responsibilities include tuning rules, maintaining data sources, and applying ML/AI techniques to improve security monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of system administration, database administration, network engineering, software engineering, or software development with a Cyber Security concentration.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field with 5 years of applicable experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, and test ELS/SIEM enhancements; migrate and integrate streaming ingestion into cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Create dashboards for stakeholders; maintain a Master Project Schedule reviewed bi‑weekly with Government leadership.
• Tune correlation rules, manage whitelists/blacklists, and integrate ML/AI capabilities into SIEM.
