Job summary

STI-TEC, based in Lexington, KY, seeks an Inventory Management Support Team member to assist the SOF AT&L ELMS Warehouse Module rollout at Bluegrass Station.

You will complete SOCOM ELMS training within 3 months, perform complex research on stock discrepancies, and ensure compliance with DoD logistics policies.

This role requires a Secret clearance, 2+ years in warehouse/logistics, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work non-standard hours.

Qualifications

• Require Secret Clearance on day one of performance.
• 2+ years Warehouse/Logistical experience.
• Minimum 3 years combined experience with DoD or other federal agency in Financial Management, Program Management, IT, Material Management, warehouse management or Logistics.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex research, analysis, and define root cause of inventory stock level discrepancies.
• Performs comprehensive inventory control, accountability, validation processes IAW DoD standards and procedures.
• Verify all shipments by serviceability, document number, nomenclature, NSN and quantity.
• Conduct periodic physical asset inventories and monthly self-assessment audits.
• Employ Microsoft Office Suite to produce workload management and administrative outputs.

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (SOF AT&L) is responsible for all USSOCOM research, development, acquisition, procurement, and logistics. SOF AT&L works with Government, academia, and industry in meeting its mission to provide rapid and focused acquisition, technology, and logistics support to Warfighters, delivering the most effective capabilities to our Special Operations Forces.

The purpose of this contract is to provide contractor support personnel to assist the Acquisition Logistics Directorate (ALD) in implementing and systematically maintaining the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) Warehouse, Maintenance & Utilization (M&U), Inventory Control Point (ICP), Property Accountability (PA), and Materiel Management modules across all Special Operation Forces’ supply support activities.

Essential Job Function

• An Inventory Management Support Team shall be located at SOFSA, Bluegrass Station, in Lexington, KY. Inventory Management Support Team personnel may be required to work non-standard hours.
• All personnel shall successfully complete Government provided SOCOM ELMS Warehouse Module training and become functional users within ELMS Warehouse Module within 3 months of date of hire. This certification is required for continued contract performance.
• Perform complex research, analysis, and defines root cause of inventory stock levels discrepancies. Cross-references regulations, policies, and guidelines to implement corrective process narratives at post-secondary education levels.
• Performs comprehensive inventory control, accountability, validation processes IAW DOD 5000.64, DOD 4140, and processes material into the APSR IAW USSOCOM Policy Directive 700-32.
• Performs validation and audit on material movement and acceptance into the APSR in compliance with Financial Improvement Audit Readiness/Remediation.
• Verify all shipments by serviceability, document number, nomenclature, NSN and quantity. Assess ordering, tracking, delivery dates, and shipping requirements for on-time delivery.
• Conduct periodic physical asset inventories, asset location surveys and perform monthly self-assessment audits of inventory in ELMS.
• Perform tasks that establish and maintain inventory/materials receiving and shipping records and audit trail documents.
• Monitor inventory levels and report inventory discrepancies to the Government Inventory Manager.
• Perform physical inventories as required and report discrepancies to the Government Inventory Manager.
• Employs the entire Microsoft Office Suite capability to produce manage workload requirements and provide administrative work products.

Minimum Qualifications

• Require Secret Clearance on day one of performance
• 2+ years Warehouse/Logistical experience
• Minimum 3 years of combined experience with DoD or other federal agency in Financial Management, Program Management, IT, Material Management, warehouse management or Logistics, INCLUDING:
• (2) Forklift driving license
• Minimum 6 months experience in LIS
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
