Summary

A Cashier associate must provide excellent customer service by greeting customers as they enter the store and processing transactions accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include greeting customers, scanning merchandise, handling sales, refunds, and exchanges, and closing transactions at the register. The role also involves training, maintenance, and stocking duties, similar to other team members at CNRG. As often the first and last point of contact for customers, the Cashier should greet each customer warmly and thank them upon departure.

Additional duties include handling sales transactions, assisting customers, maintaining a clean checkout area, verifying merchandise details, processing returns and exchanges, answering phone calls courteously, managing payments and credit applications, preparing deposits, and ensuring proper documentation and cash control. The ideal candidate is friendly, detail-oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

Qualifications

Successful candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills, customer service orientation, teamwork, organizational skills, and physical ability to handle ladders, reach, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays. They should also have good product knowledge and the ability to distinguish between similar products.
