Position Overview

Our operating room (OR) department is one of the largest and most active in the state, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. We have dedicated teams of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other medical personnel committed to providing high-quality patient care in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Operate specialized medical equipment including anesthesia machines and ventilators.
• Prepare patients for surgery by scrubbing, gowning, and positioning them on the operating table.
• Monitor vital signs during anesthesia and record medication administration accurately.
• Ensure sterile environment and proper disposal of medical waste post-operation.
• Maintain patient safety and satisfaction throughout the surgical process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience as a circulator nurse.
• Current New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact State license.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation and maintain it; ACLS preferred.
