Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist at Elliot Hospital, providing specialized care in home medical equipment and respiratory services.

About Us

Using the latest technology, we offer clients the ability to be cared for at home, providing a cost-effective alternative to hospitalization. Our offerings include hospital beds, trapezes, commodes, overbed tables, medical/surgical supplies, canes, crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, patient lifts, bathroom aids, and more.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain care plans, orders, and client records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and caregivers on care procedures, respiratory equipment, and CPR as needed.
• Instruct on the proper and safe use of respiratory devices, adhering to regulations and standards.
• Assist in developing respiratory programs and standards of care.
• Implement problem-solving and quality improvement initiatives related to patient care and organizational processes.
• Evaluate respiratory services processes for compliance with policies and regulations.
• Respond promptly to customer complaints, demonstrating excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program (1-2 years) and passing CRT or RRT exam.

Experience: Preferably 2+ years in home medical equipment and ventilator experience.

Certifications/Licenses: CRT or RRT from the National Board of Respiratory Care; NH Respiratory Care Practitioner License; BCLS certification; valid driver’s license for travel.
