Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Identify students eligible for English Language supplemental services using the school criteria.
• Design and implement engaging ELL instruction in the general education classroom or pull-out sessions.
• Administer annual English language assessments for ELL students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support ELL learners in classrooms.
• Serve as a resource to families on the ELL program and student progress.
• Identify staff development needs in best practices in English language acquisition and plan workshops.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, IEP meetings, and weekly academic and student meetings.
• Maintain files for ELL students with assessments, services, and parent contact logs.
• Stay up-to-date on ELL/Bilingual Education laws and best practices.
