Job summary

Fort Wayne Community Schools Croninger Elementary School in Fort Wayne, Indiana seeks a part-time English Language Learner School Assistant to support multilingual students and assist teachers with instructional and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include classroom support during the school day from approximately 7:45am to 3:30pm, helping students with language needs, and handling clerical duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong office, computer, and oral/written communication skills.
• Knowledge of child guidance principles and basic instructional methods.
• Prefer candidate to be highly-qualified with two years of college.
• Pass Para-Pro Assessment or have CDA credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional and clerical tasks.
• Support multilingual students and monitor behavior.
• Provide basic student management in classroom.
