Pattonville School District's Holman Middle School is hiring an ELL Paraprofessional II for the 2026-2027 school year. The 9.5‑month position (87.50%) works 7 hours daily, Monday through Friday, 195 days per year, under the supervision of a certified teacher to support English learners and classroom lessons.

The ideal candidate can organize lessons, assist across subjects, and work with students in small groups or one-on-one.

Qualifications

Ability to organize and assist with classroom lessons and materials in a variety of subject areas.
Knowledge of the methods, techniques, and procedures used in teaching and supporting English learners.
Desire to work with and educate middle school students in small groups and individually.
Desire to work with and follow direction from content area teachers and specialists in classroom settings.
Ability to motivate and encourage others, be creative, flexible, and patient.
Fluent Spanish-speaker preferred.
To work under the direct supervision of an appropriately certified teacher to provide instructional assistance, paraprofessionals must: 60 college credit hours, or ParaPro Assessment (before 23 September 2013), or Paraprofessional Assessment through Pearson (23 September 2013 through 20 June 2024), or ParaPro Assessment through ETS (1 July 2024 forward), and the 20HR Substitute Certificate Course.
