Job summary

The Mount Pleasant Community School District is looking for an Associate/Paraeducator to support a positive teaching and learning environment. You will assist in the development of students' physical and intellectual growth and establish positive relationships.

Key responsibilities include supervising students, implementing behavior management strategies, and assisting with educational plans. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Para Educator Certificate is preferred.

Qualifications

• Earned high school diploma or education equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist students, including out of classroom activities.
• Implement behavior management strategies using the same techniques as the teacher.
• Assist students in use of computers.
• Communicate with teachers regarding the progress of students.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Para Educator Certificate or equivalent preferred
