Job summary

Georgetown Public Schools is seeking an Academic Interventionist for Middle/High School (ELL/ESL) in Georgetown, MA. The role focuses on daily small group instruction to boost language proficiency within the MTSS framework.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and an ESL/ELL license is preferred. This on-site, part-time position reports to the classroom teacher and building principal, with a $32.00 hourly rate for three hours per day.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree; Master’s preferred.
• ESL or ELL license preferred.
• Experience working with children.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student and school information.
• Ability to provide academic instruction to students with learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily small group targeted instruction based on MTSS data.
• Support proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Collaborate with District ELL Coordinator and staff.
• Develop positive relationships with students and staff.
