What are we looking for?

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking an in‑person English Language Learning academic support tutor to work with high school students developing their command of the English language.

Location: Wilmington, DE 19804

Type: IN PERSON

Schedule: Flexible; Must have availability between 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM two days a week for scheduling purposes

Hours: Scheduling 6‑8 hours a week

Description: One‑on‑one or small group instruction

Job Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience, not including student teaching
• Must have 2 years of experience working with English Language Learning students
• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience developing lessons and monitoring progress
• Documentation of attendance and material covered needed
• Organization skills
• Effective communication skills – both verbal and written
• Candidate should travel no more than 30 minutes for this position
