Job summary

CMC Recruiting seeks an experienced Senior Wealth Portfolio Manager to join our client’s Madison, WI team, inheriting an established book of high net worth relationships and delivering sophisticated investment management.

You will lead portfolio construction, asset allocation, and ongoing oversight, collaborating with Wealth Advisors, private bankers and planning professionals to deliver a coordinated wealth management experience.

Qualifications

• 7 to 10+ years of investment management or related experience.
• Direct experience with high net worth individuals and families.
• Strong portfolio construction and asset allocation expertise.
• CFA strongly preferred or comparable investment credentials and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of high net worth client relationships.
• Develop and oversee customized investment strategies based on client goals, risk tolerance, time horizons, and financial needs.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through proactive communication, investment guidance, and ongoing portfolio oversight.
• Lead investment conversations and communicate portfolio strategy and market perspectives clearly and confidently.
• Partner closely with Wealth Advisors and financial planning professionals to integrate investment management with broader financial planning.
• Collaborate with private banking and other internal partners to deliver a coordinated client experience.
• Participate in prospective client conversations alongside Wealth Advisors when appropriate.
• Provide ongoing portfolio construction, asset allocation, investment recommendations, and performance oversight.
• Serve as a senior investment resource within the Madison market.
