Job summary

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital in Woburn, MA is seeking a Veterinary Internist for a full‑time role. The position features a four‑day workweek with rotating weekend commitments and a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

You will diagnose and treat complex internal medicine cases, with access to advanced imaging and a supportive team. Candidates should have a DVM, MA licensure eligibility, and board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Massachusetts state veterinary licensure.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex internal medicine cases across GI, hepatobiliary, endocrine, infectious, hematologic, and respiratory areas.
• Perform and/or order diagnostics such as ultrasound, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, and CT.
• Coordinate with specialty and emergency teams on shared patients and transfers.
• Mentor technicians and assistants as part of daily case management.
• Pursue growth opportunities in ultrasound proficiency, IR procedures, and electrochemotherapy (ECT).
