Job summary

Monroe Truck Equipment in Monroe, WI is seeking a Truck Quality Detailer to prep and deliver custom trucks. You will clean interiors and exteriors of recently upfitted heavy‑duty chassis and equipment, use specialized cleaning equipment, and assist in quality control inspections to ensure finishes meet standards.

You will inspect paint and workmanship, perform minor adjustments, complete pre‑delivery tasks, take photos, manage decals and supplies, and help train new shop and QC staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare custom trucks for delivery as a proactive team member.
• Clean interior and exterior of recently upfitted trucks.
• Use specialized cleaning equipment for trucks and equipment.
• Assist quality control inspections to meet standards and customer expectations.
• Inspect paint, finish and mechanical workmanship per QC checklist.
• Perform minor adjustments and repairs as required.
• Complete pre-delivery tasks and adjust as needed.
• Return vehicles for rework if necessary.
• Certify completed vehicles and apply correct labels.
• Take digital photos of completed vehicles as required.
• Maintain decals, touch-up paint and supplies inventory.
• Assist in training TE Shop and QC employees.
• Support incoming chassis inspections and accurate information collection.
