Job summary

Arbor Masters is a third-generation, family-owned business specializing in all areas of tree service and plant care. As a Tree Climber you will participate in all aspects of tree work, including pruning and removals, while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will operate heavy equipment, perform rigging and basic felling, communicate with homeowners and crew, and help with site setup and cleanup. A strong team attitude, physical stamina, and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum of 2-3 year rope and saddle climbing experience including knowledge of knots and rigging.
• Must have basic knowledge of tree pruning and removal techniques.
• Ability to work at heights above 10 feet.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must navigate uneven terrain and lift 50 lbs regularly.
• Experience operating bucket or claw trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and various tools used in tree work.
• Repair, sharpen, and maintain equipment.
• Perform basic felling and aerial rigging over obstacles.
• Load, maintain, and inspect tools and materials on the truck.
• Assist in job briefing and site setup with the Crew Leader.
• Conduct tree risk and site assessments and communicate services to homeowners.
• Communicate effectively with crew members on-site.
• Assist in debris cleanup at job completion.
