Tire Discounters in Indianapolis is seeking a Tire Technician to join our team as an Advanced Tire Tech. You will replace, repair, and rotate tires, train others, and receive guidance from Service Technicians to build fundamental auto repair skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive experience is not required, but related interest is expected.
• Service orientation with a positive attitude is essential.
• Strong work ethic and teamwork are highly valued.
• Good interpersonal communication skills are important for coworkers and customers.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• General mechanical skills are helpful but not required.
• Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years of age.
• Available to work Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair tires as part of daily tasks.
• Operate balancer and tire machine to service vehicles.
• Complete work orders and related paperwork.
• Maintain, organize, and clean shop and equipment.
• Assist customers and co-workers as needed.
• Perform duties in a safe manner and follow shop procedures.
• Contribute to a culture of cooperation and collaboration among the team.
