Job summary

The Bay Club Company is seeking a Tennis Professional to lead tennis activities under the Director of Tennis. You will promote clinics, private and group lessons while achieving personal revenue goals and delivering exceptional member service.

Responsibilities include organizing schedules, orienting new members, attending meetings, and maintaining accurate records. Must hold a USPTA or USPTR certification and CPR/AED; on-site role with flexible hours and club events.

Qualifications

• Clear written communication and expression skills.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and related tracking tools.
• Well organized and detail oriented.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Current Tennis Professional certification from USPTA or USPTR.
• Minimum two years of professional experience.
• CPR/AED certification is required

Responsibilities

• Promote and teach tennis clinics, private lessons, and adult/junior/senior programs.
• Organize and maintain daily teaching schedule including private and group lessons.
• Achieve personal revenue goals.
• Provide new member tennis orientations and facility introductions.
• Notify and encourage participation in tennis events.
• Attend staff meetings and orientations as directed by management.
• Be available for posted clinics or functions in emergencies.
• Represent the club professionally in image, dress, and communication.
• Be punctual for scheduled appointments.
• Maintain accurate client exercise and progress records.
• Keep track of client sessions and payments.
• Enforce club policies across department and facility.
• Assist in maintenance and cleanliness of tennis area and courts.
• Record daily hours and sessions accurately in tracking system.
