Job summary

Nike Tennis is seeking an Expert Designer to lead apparel platforms and seasonal innovation for premium performance products. You will translate concepts into silhouettes, construction, and material systems, elevating fit and craft for world-class athletes.

You will mentor designers, drive athletic-informed design, and collaborate with Design, Development, Materials, Color, Graphics, and Engineering teams to deliver athlete-right solutions across Nike Tennis apparel.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in performance apparel design and prototyping across sport and lifestyle.
Strong presentation, storytelling, and communication skills.
Hands-on experience with both digital and physical prototyping tools.
Bachelor's Degree in Apparel/Fashion Design or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Lead Tennis Apparel product creation and contribute to seasonal creative direction.
Design and prototype apparel across Nike Team, Nike Lab, and elite athlete collections.
Translate early design concepts into buildable silhouettes, construction methods, and material systems.
Drive innovation in fit, performance, craftsmanship, and athlete-specific solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to align insights, requirements, and manufacturing capabilities.
Mentor designers and provide creative leadership across projects.
