Job summary

Venture Search, partnering with a Tier 1 proprietary trading firm, seeks a Systematic Credit Trader to join its New York Fixed Income desk. You will develop and scale systematic trading strategies across IG, HY and fixed income ETFs, collaborating with researchers, developers and traders.

Qualifications

Proven experience trading systematic strategies across IG, HY, and/or Fixed Income ETFs.
Background in a prop trading firm, hedge fund, market maker or investment bank.
Strong knowledge of quantitative trading, electronic execution and market microstructure.
Excellent Python skills and a strong quantitative mindset.
Demonstrated track record developing and managing profitable systematic trading strategies.
Strong communication and collaborative, fast-paced workstyle.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and optimise systematic trading strategies across IG, HY, and/or Fixed Income ETFs.
Conduct quantitative research to identify new trading opportunities and alpha sources.
Monitor strategy performance and refine models to improve risk-adjusted returns.
Collaborate with researchers, developers and traders to deploy ideas into production.
Enhance execution, automation and trading infrastructure across the desk.
Contribute to growth of a high-performing systematic trading business.
