General Summary & Scope

The Elite Stylist engages with guests, consulting on hair care needs and recommending products and services. They deliver quality professional services focused on the guest’s total look, supporting the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager. This role emphasizes performance, guest service, and adherence to operational standards, requiring a passion for beauty and strong communication skills.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

Performance

• Perform hair services such as cuts, color, styling, treatments, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing (if applicable).
• Achieve or surpass weekly sales goals of $1900, contributing to overall store sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrinkage targets.
• Conduct product demonstrations to enhance sales and guest experience.
• Support in-store events and promotions to elevate guest experience.
• Stay informed on industry trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
• Maintain consistent attendance.

People

• Build guest relationships through consultations and appropriate recommendations.
• Serve all guests efficiently, including walk-ins.
• Collaborate with skin therapists and retail teams for a comprehensive guest experience.
• Develop professional relationships with peers and brand partners.
• Promote the guest loyalty program and app.
• Attend training and meetings for ongoing professional development.

Process

• Follow Ulta Beauty policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Adhere to sanitation and infection control guidelines.
• Follow service protocols for a consistent guest experience.
• Use booking systems to schedule return services and events.
• Communicate supply needs to management.
• Maintain cleanliness and store standards.
• Follow dress code and loss prevention practices.
• Perform other operational tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Relevant work experience required.
• Proficiency in salon techniques and equipment, product sales, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with strong customer relationship skills.

Position Requirements

• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Working Conditions
