Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company seeks a skilled welder to perform high-precision welding on structural and process pipe applications. The role requires setting up and operating welding machines, following job specs and welding procedures on-site at industrial sites.

You will handle multiple processes (FCAW-S, FCAW-G, TGAW, GMAW, SMAW, SAW), preheat and weld per blueprints, and use tools like gouger and grinder. Candidates must pass safety rules and work irregular hours as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safely and efficiently.
• Good communication with management/supervision.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, troubleshoot and operate welding machines according to job specifications and welding procedures.
• Preheat and weld metal components as specified by blue prints, welding symbols, job specifications, or welding procedures.
• Weld various processes FCAW-S, FCAW-G, TGAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW.
• Operate air arc gouger, grinder, stress relieving machine, and other industry machines, tools and equipment.
• Make welding repairs and substandard welds.
