The Project Engineer will work independently under the Engineer of Record to aid in the design team for projects during design and construction. A competitive salary and benefits package, plus growth opportunities, are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis required.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred or equivalent.
• Experience with foundation design for shallow and deep systems.
• Proficiency in Revit Structure 2019 or newer.
• Strong understanding of IBC and reference codes (ASCE, AISC, ACI, MSJC, NDS, PTI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in coordination meetings with disciplines, supervisors, clients, and owners.
• Coordinate design and documentation to complete construction documents on schedule and within budget.
• Author and maintain structural specifications; determine materials and member sizes; perform calculations.
• Assist with shop drawings, RFIs, change proposals, and change orders; incorporate changes into documents.
• Translate design items to project team and prepare defensible engineering reports and emails.
• Provide site observations and author reports during Construction Administration.
