Job summary

ETS Sports Performance in Waukegan, IL is seeking a part-time Strength & Conditioning Coach to work with youth, high school, college and professional athletes in a dynamic private-sector environment.

The role emphasizes strength, speed, agility, and deceleration training using ETS systems, with a focus on fundamentals and athlete development. Relocation to Waukegan is required prior to starting work to join the ETS team.

Qualifications

• Post graduate experience in the Strength/Conditioning or Performance field.
• Must be a former competitive athlete and possess an accredited professional certification.
• Outgoing, motivating and personable with a willingness to learn and continue growing.
• Sports-minded with a strong desire for continual development of leadership skills.
• Enjoys working with kids of all ages and ability levels.
• Patient yet persistent with the task at hand.
• Exercise Science/athletics or business background.
• Accountable and dependable - on time and willing to put forth the extra effort.
• Graduating GPA of a 2.5 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength, speed, agility and deceleration training.
• Develop and implement athlete-specific training plans.
• Collaborate with ETS team and facility directors to maximize athlete development.
