Job summary

D1 Novi is seeking a dedicated D1 Coach to foster a high-energy, inclusive environment for athletes of all ages. You will deliver group workouts, personal training, and team sessions, tailoring programs to individual goals and abilities.

Join a growth-minded team focused on performance, education, and mentorship, while helping athletes reach strength, speed, and fitness milestones in a motivating setting.

Qualifications

• Has a valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
• Has at least one valid certification accredited by the NCCA.
• Minimum of 1 year of strength & conditioning-related experience in group, team, or personal training setting.
• Has a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a related field (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, high-performance environment for all athletes.
• Coach group workouts, personal training sessions, and teams.
• Modify and adapt movements to suit individual needs and goals.
• Assess and align each athlete with the proper program.
• Deliver expert guidance on strength, speed, and nutrition.
• Build strong relationships and maintain regular contact with athletes.

Skills

AED/CPR/First Aid certification

Strength & conditioning experience

NCCA-certified coaching credential

Education

Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or related field
