Job summary

Houston Dynamo FC seeks an experienced Equipment Manager to lead equipment, apparel, and kit operations for the First Team. You will ensure players have the gear, manage inventory and laundry, and coordinate travel logistics for training and matches.

This role requires strong organizational skills, proactive service, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed in a high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of equipment management experience in high-performance sport.
• Experience supporting equipment operations across training, matches, and travel.
• Strong administrative and technology skills, including inventory systems and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to travel extensively and work evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-traditional hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead all First Team equipment, apparel, footwear, and kit operations across training, matches, preseason, and team activities.
• Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, distribution, and replacement of team equipment and apparel; coordinate with staff.
• Coordinate equipment and apparel needs with players, coaches, Medical, Performance, and Sporting Operations staff.
• Manage laundry operations, locker room supplies, and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Lead matchday preparation and travel logistics; travel with the First Team as required.
• Oversee Nike and league compliance pertaining to equipment and personal-brand requirements.
• Develop and maintain equipment department procedures, calendars, inventories, and operating standards.
