Job summary

Seventh Dimension LLC in Southern Pines, NC is seeking a Weapons Specialist to serve as a subject matter expert on all aspects of small arms maintenance and repair. The role supports Special Forces training, readiness, and operational capability through expert-level weapons knowledge, maintenance, instruction, and operational support.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing a wide range of weapons, performing detailed disassembly/assembly, testing for safety and accuracy, and training

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship/Residency required.
• Possess SECRET security clearance.
• A favorable background check (NACLAC) required; former 18B Special Forces Weapons Sergeant or equivalent suggests expertise.
• Must pass medical exam and be in good health.
• Able to lift/move at least 50 lbs and reach above shoulders.
• Fluent English communication with diverse teams.
• Must maintain safety and regulatory compliance throughout duties.
• Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends as training requires.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, overhaul, and repair small arms (US/foreign and obsolete weapons).
• Diagnose mechanical deficiencies in pistols, revolvers, rifles, shotguns, and other small arms.
• Maintain proficiency with tools and gauges for repairs and finishing
• Disassemble/assemble foreign and domestic small arms.
• Test fires and verify safety, accuracy, and operation after repairs.
• Record and report safety certifications and training outcomes.
• Train less experienced workers in repair and maintenance techniques.
