Job summary

Topsarge Business Solutions seeks a dedicated Small Arms Instructor to deliver dynamic weapons instruction for small-arms and crew-served weapons in accordance with COMNECC 3591 standards. The role involves classroom, synthetic, and live-fire training across rifle, pistol, line coaching, and related weapons, with travel to support nationwide training objectives.

Qualifications

• Be formally trained as a small-arms instructor through a military Service or a small-arms instructor course recognized by a Federal agency and be qualified in rifle and pistol.
• Meet Navy High-Risk Training requirements in accordance with OPNAVINST 1500.75 series.
• Possess current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
• Graduate of the Navy Instructor Training Course (NEC 9502) or an equivalent civilian or commercial course.
• Three years of Armed Forces, law-enforcement SWAT, or related experience involving enhanced shooting techniques.
• One year of instructional experience.
• Graduation from SAMI, Blackwater, MidSouth Shooting Institute, Gryphon, SFAUC, MCAUC, or equivalent training is preferred.
• Technical knowledge of weapons systems: M9, M18, M4/M16, M240, M2 .50, M500.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dynamic weapons instruction for small-arms and crew-served weapons in accordance with training standards.
• Provide instructional and training support for Rifle CAT II, Pistol CAT II, Line Coach, and other weapons training.
• Deliver weapons safety instruction and basic marksmanship fundamentals in classroom, synthetic, and live-fire environments.
• Travel to other locations to support small-arms instruction and training objectives.
