Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Elite Security Officer at our Technology Site in Texas. The role provides safety procedures, incident response, and routine patrols, with a pay rate of $30 per hour.

Candidates must have 3+ years of law enforcement or security experience (or 5+ years armed security), Texas Level III certification, a valid driver’s license, and be 21 or older. A high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience is required, plus background check and drug screening.

• Valid Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.

• Licensing requirements may apply in state/local laws.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry specific security/safety training programs
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
