Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by following site procedures and access-control practices.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations with calm, clear reporting.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and patrol reports and communicate with Allied Universal leadership.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, respond to security-related incidents, and maintain a visible presence to help deter concerns. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at commercial real estate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of building interiors, parking areas, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, patrol activities, and security-related concerns, and communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Possess 5+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
