Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking an Elite Stylist to engage guests, assess hair care needs, and recommend products and services that complement the total look. You will support the Experience Manager and focus on performance, people, and process to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

The ideal candidate has a cosmetology license and relevant experience, with strong skills in cutting, coloring, styling, and makeup. A customer-first mindset and the ability to work flexibly are essential.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology license required.
• Previous relevant work experience required.
• Proficient in haircutting, color, styling, extensions, and makeup applications.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including design, color, texture, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, and makeup applications.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals for hair services and drive retail/service sales.
• Demonstrate products and contribute to a superior guest service experience.
• Assist in in-store events, promotions and marketing initiatives for an unrivaled guest experience.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and state board guidelines; ensure safety and sanitation compliance.
