Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a motivated Residential Journeyman Electrician to join our team on-site in Indianapolis. You will install, diagnose, and repair residential electrical systems while mentoring apprentices and ensuring code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of journeyman experience, a valid license, and a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, and client communication.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience (5+ years) required.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate lifts, trenchers, and other small equipment.
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy equipment.
• Solid math and measurement skills.
• Professional appearance and positive, respectful attitude.
• OSHA certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics to determine material and labor requirements
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential electrical systems
• Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and vendors
• Train and oversee apprentices on best practices and code compliance
