Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an Associate Attorney to join a nationally recognized Real Estate Practice Group in New York/New Jersey. The role focuses on sophisticated real estate transactions, with responsibility for drafting, negotiating, due diligence, and closing management.

The ideal candidate holds a JD from a top-tier law school, an active Bar, and 2–4 years of real estate experience, including debt or equity matters, with strong drafting and client-relations skills to support premier clients.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 2–4 years of substantive experience with real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing.
• Experience with real estate debt and/or equity matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Elevated attention to detail, with proven ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish.
• Confident in managing client relationships and providing strategic, business-oriented legal counsel.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated real estate transaction documents, including purchase and sale agreements, leases, and financing documents
• Conduct legal due diligence, including title and survey review, and manage closing processes
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand business goals and provide strategic, practical legal advice
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of transactions
• Support partners and senior attorneys on complex real estate matters involving commercial and institutional clients
