Job summary

Longmont United Hospital, part of CommonSpirit Mountain Region, is seeking a board-certified or eligible Radiation Oncologist to join our expanding cancer program in Colorado. You will lead radiation treatment planning using Varian Linac and HDR, collaborate with medical and surgical oncologists, and mentor a multidisciplinary team across centers.

Qualifications

• Residency or fellowship in specialty completed
• DEA registration obtained/maintained
• Board certified or eligible in specialty
• Medical Staff Privileges within sponsoring system
• Doctorate MD or DO
• License to practice medicine in applicable state

Responsibilities

• Design precise radiation treatment plans using Varian Linac and HDR units
• Conduct initial patient consultations and explain therapy options
• Lead a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure high precision and safety
• Collaborate with surgical and medical oncologists to integrate radiation therapy
• Participate in routine peer review with a regional group of Radiation Oncologists
• Monitor patients post-treatment to assess recurrence and long-term outcomes
• Support growth of the cancer program and physician/staff development
