Healthtrax Fitness & Wellness in Glastonbury, CT is seeking an experienced Personal Trainer to develop client plans and lead assessments. You will create tailored exercise programs, manage client files, and deliver excellent member service while promoting growth in personal training bookings.

You should hold CPT certifications (NSCA/ACSM/NASM/ACE) and prefer a Bachelor's degree. A positive, patient approach and strong communication are essential for success and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Must maintain valid certifications with nationally recognized bodies such as NSCA, ACSM, NASM, ACE and CPR/AED.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• 3+ years of personal training experience with demonstrated client growth and retention.

Responsibilities

• Develop and realize personal business plans with Fitness Director.
• Provide Healthy Start appointments to new members and assess health history.
• Create personalized exercise programs and progression plans for clients.
• Manage client files, schedules, reminders and document progress in Club Ready.
• Conduct fitness assessments and interpret results (InBody 570).
• Participate in weekly team meetings and share best practices.
• Ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained equipment and floor.
• Assist in marketing to grow personal training bookings and retention.
