Job summary

The U.S. Secret Service Police (Uniformed Division) safeguards facilities and venues designated for Secret Service protectees, including the White House complex and foreign missions. Officers may support National Special Security Events and are part of a specialized Counter Sniper Team (CS).

Applicants undergo rigorous medical, security, and fitness testing and must obtain Top-Secret clearance. Recruitment incentive of $75,000 is offered. Candidates must be U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess a current valid driver's license and REAL ID compliance.
• Must be at least 20 years old at the time of application; referrals up to age 40 may be considered.
• Must successfully complete Phase I & Phase II pre-employment steps including APAT, security checks, polygraph, and medical evaluations.
• Must obtain and retain Top-Secret Clearance; firearms proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Protect the White House complex, the Vice President's residence, and other designated facilities.
• Provide security for foreign missions and embassies, and support NSSEs and high-profile events.
• Participate in the Counter Sniper Team (CS) when assigned, with potential non-tactical roles if CS training is not completed.
