Qualifications

• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must be a non-probationary active duty or service retired California Police Officer, Sheriff’s Deputy or Federal Law Enforcement Agent.
• 1 year of service as a California Police Officer, Sheriff’s Deputy or Federal LEA.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hospital security and safety for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Serve as a visible deterrent to illicit activities on hospital property.
• Report and document all security-related incidents.
• Liaise with local law enforcement to ensure proper documentation.
• Conduct security rounds and de-escalate potential confrontations.
• Respond to stat calls promptly and follow Sharp policies on Taser deployment.
