Job summary

Equinox is seeking a Personal Trainer to learn and execute core duties, build a client base, and manage scheduling while promoting fitness services. Trainers deliver assessments, guided workouts, and personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients, contributing to a premium club experience.

The role requires a nationally recognized PT certification or a bachelor’s degree, CPR/AED, strong communication skills, and the ability to work weekdays and weekends in-person.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification or a bachelor6s degree in the field.
• CPR/AED certification (Certification opportunities available for noncertified applicants)
• Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer and technology skills

Responsibilities

• Learn and execute primary responsibilities as a member of the team.
• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule including appointments and open availability.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients via phone, email, and in-person.
• Perform fitness assessments and guided workouts for members.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Maintain a safe, organized fitness floor during shifts and sessions.
• Participate in continuing education and team meetings.
