Job summary

Equinox Fitness Club in Darien is seeking a Personal Trainer to build and execute personalized fitness programs for clients. You will work under two managers, developing programming, education, business, and financial planning to advance your career in fitness.

The role emphasizes ongoing education, client development, and service excellence with opportunities to progress through in-house management programs.

Qualifications

• Current Personal Training certification or willingness to obtain one through certification reimbursement program.
• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in-person during weekdays/weekends.
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, and respectful.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain an active client base.
• Manage and maintain an accurate schedule with client appointments.
• Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients.
• Maintain knowledge of all club services, programs, and products.
• Execute fitness assessments and guided workouts for members.
• Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients.
• Ensure a safe, organized fitness floor during shifts.
